Violet Buchan 08th October 2016 Everlasting fond memories of a lady known by many, and loved by all. Vi was the loving wife of the late Alexander (Sandy), much loved mum of Kevin and Craig, mother-in-Law of Christine, Karen and Leigh-Anne, sister to Ronald and Freda, a loving grandmother to Erin, Connor and Sharelle and a well respected friend to those fortunate enough to have had her in their lives. The days may appear to have passed ever so slowly since her passing, and although that may be a reflection on how sorely Viâ??s presence is missed it is also an indication of how frequently she is held fondly in our memories of her. Viâ??s impish ways, the joy she felt when in the company of her family and friends, her selflessness when it came to others, even her berating us when she felt we may have done wrong, are all of the things that we miss, yet at the same time are all of the things that made her the Vi that we all loved, and cherish having fond memories of. Vi would not want for us to feel sad through missing her, though she would be thankful for being fondly remembered through the joy she used to bring us all, so please respect her wishes, today and always, through being happy for having known her rather than feel sad for her absence. Vi is now back in the arms of her true love Sandy (Dad), and safe from harm, so today is a day to charge your glass, raise it in celebration of and to her, whilst contemplating on all the joyous moments that you spent with her.
