I speak to you often And wonder if you're near, I speak to you often, And wonder can you hear? I speak to you in a photograph, And kiss your smiling face, This brings back lovely memories, That no one else can ever replace, How could I ever forget you? You were my rock and so very kind, With more love and affection for me, Than I could have ever hoped to find. They say time is a healer, And can ease the grief and pain, But it's 2 years since you left me Joe, And I miss you just the same. I will continue to love you, Although we remain apart, I will continue to love you, And always carry you within my heart.
