MACKAY The family of the late Mr William Mackay wish to express their sincere thanks to the very large number of relatives, friends and neighbours for all their kind and thoughtful expressions of sympathy which have been received following their recent sad loss. They also want to express their heartfelt thanks to all the doctors and nurses who tended their father during his long illness. Special thanks are due to the wonderful nurses in Ward 2 of the Royal Northern Infirmary for being so attentive during his final days; to Dr. Carolyne Simpson and her team at Dunedin Medical Practice for their unfailing support; and to Mr Brian Hunter, Macmillan Cancer Support, for all his dedicated care. Grateful thanks are extended to Rev. Dr. Peter Donald for his unstinting pastoral care and for his fitting tribute and comforting words, both at the Crown Church and at Thurso Cemetery. They also want to express their deep appreciation to all those who paid their last respects not only at the church in Inverness but also at the graveside in Thurso. Thanks are due to John Fraser & Son, Chapel Street, Inverness, for their sensitive and efficient handling of the funeral arrangements. Donations of £654.50 gratefully received, have been passed to Cancer Relief.
