MACLEOD (Portknockie/Kinlochleven)Dr Mary Catherine Macleod died peacefully at her home in Portknockie on Sunday, November 26, 2017. Funeral service private. A celebration of Catherine's life will be held at The Mill House Hotel, Tynet by Buckie, on Tuesday, December 12, 2017, at 1.30pm and also at Alexandra Hotel, Fort William on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 1.30pm to which all friends are respectfully invited.

I am so sorry to learn of the death of my first cousin once removed. Had I known in time, I should certainly have tried to come to one of the memorial events. I did not see Mary very often, but it was always a pleasure to receive an email or letter from her describing some of her many lively interests. My thoughts and prayers are with her immediate family.
