THOMSON With great sadness we intimate the passing, in his eighty-sixth year, of retired teacher Frederick Alexander Thomson at ARI on Friday, October 27, 2017. Fred was the devoted husband of the late Betty, beloved dad of Ian and Alan and father-in-law to Sharon and Jennifer. He was the proud and doting grandpa of Eilidh, Ewan and Alexandra. A funeral service, to which all friends and family are warmly invited will be held at Mannofield Church, at 12.30 p.m., on Friday, November 3, 2017, followed by a committal at the Aberdeen Crematorium. Family flowers only please, but donations in lieu, to the ANCHOR Unit at ARI, may be made at the church door.
