RITCHIE (Inverness)Peacefully after a long illness at the Highland Hospice, Inverness, on August 15, 2017, J. Val Ritchie, aged 86 years, retired Glen Mhor and Glen Albyn Distilleries, devoted and beloved husband of Patricia, precious dad to Marcia, proud and loved grandad to Jamie and Sophie, also an adored great grandad to Rhys, Finn, Harry and Emily. Val was dearly loved and respected by many and will be sadly missed. Funeral Service on Monday, August 28, at 10.45am in Inshes Parish Church, Inverness to be followed by a Committal Service in Inverness Crematorium. All welcome to attend. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to the Renal Unit, Raigmore Hospital may be given at the service. Arrangements by D. Chisholm & Sons.
