WOOD Peacefully after a short illness at Fairview Nursing Home, on Saturday, July 8, 2017, Christina Milne Wood, (Chrissie), aged 89 years of King Street, Aberdeen, wife of the late Jack Wood and partner of the late Bill Traynor, loving mother of Joan, David and Alison, beloved mother in law of Alan and Alex, doting grandma and great grandma of Karen, Craig, Adam, Sam, Junior, Chloe and Ruth, retired Labour Party activist and Councillor, Burgess of the City of Aberdeen, secretary and founder member of the S. T. A. R flat, Seaton. A friend and helper to many. Funeral service at St Mary's Church, King Street, Aberdeen on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at 1.15pm, followed by committal at Aberdeen Crematorium, all friends respectfully invited, family flowers only. Sadly missed.
