SIMPSON (formerly of East Stoneyhill)It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of James Rennie Simpson (Jim), aged 91 years, on Thursday July 6, 2017, at Crimond House Care Home, Crimond. Jim bore his illness with great courage, subtle humour and determination, just as he lived. He was a dearly loved brother to his remaining siblings Elsie, Nan and Jock, a dear brother-in-law and a much loved and special uncle to his many nieces and nephews. Service of thanksgiving for his long life in, Cruden Parish Church, on Friday, July 14 at 1.00pm, to which all friends are respectfully invited, interment thereafter in Cruden Churchyard. Family flowers only. Cancer Research will receive any donations in lieu of flowers at Jim's request.
