STRACHAN (Peterhead) The family of the late John (Ian) Strachan, 3 Geary Place, Peterhead, wish to thank everyone who have expressed sympathy to them during the recent sad home calling of a dear brother, brother-in-law, uncle and great-uncle. Grateful thanks to all friends, community nurses and carers who provided help and support to Ian over the last few years and to the many people who paid their last respects both in the Almanythie Hall and at the Grange Cemetery. Special thanks to Mr Billy Cowie, Mr George Smith and Mr Billy Robertson for their reassuring and uplifting words at the service, graveside and at the Waterside Inn and to Robert Mackie and his staff for their professional and sympathetic handling of all the funeral arrangements.
