STEPHEN (Mintlaw) The family of the late Olwen Stephen would like to thank all relatives, friend and neighbours and also residents and staff at Abbey Court for the kind and thoughtful expressions of sympathy extended to them in so many ways during their recent sad loss. Words can never express the gratitude felt by the family for the way that Olwen was cared for at Abbey Court during her recent illness and the family will never forget the kindness, compassion, love and respect shown by the staff. We would also like to thank the doctors and nurses at Mintlaw Surgery for the care that was provided over the years and also the carers and OT's who looked after Olwen at her home in Maud. A special thank you to the Rev. Sheila Kirk for the very comforting funeral service and to Mark and Craig of Robert Mackie Funeral Directors for their professional assistance during this very sad and difficult time. The Four Mile House at Kingswells provided a lovely afternoon tea, which was greatly appreciated by all. A final thanks to everyone who joined with the family to pay their last respects at Aberdeen Crematorium and gave to generously towards Mintlaw Surgery and Abbey Court Residents Fund which totalled £680.
