Peacefully, at home with her family, on May 23, 2016, following a short illness borne with great dignity, Mona Sutherland Mac Kenzie (nee Urquhart), aged 88 years and 2 months (first burgh police woman in Inverness). Beloved wife of the late Dan Mac Kenzie (Dan the dog), much loved and loving mum to Pauline, Mame and Caroline, treasured granny of Andrew, Dougie, Scott and Euan, proud great granny to Emily, Mason and Senan, also a dearly loved mother in law and friend to many. Funeral service on Wednesday, June 1, at 1.30pm, in the Funeral Home of John Fraser & Son, 17 - 29 Chapel Street, Inverness, to which all friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, for Marie Curie and Macmillan Nurses may be given at the service. Car parking available at the funeral home.
