Kathleen, David and Judith would like to express their heartfelt thanks for all the kindness shown to them following the sudden and sad passing of Allan, a much loved husband, dad and father-in-law. We are deeply grateful to family, friends and neighbours for all the kind expressions of sympathy extended to us through cards, letters, telephone calls and lovely flowers. Special thanks to the Rev. Dr. Kay Gauld for her most comforting and personal service, to the Strathbogie Fiddlers, Frances Mitchell and Sharon Hassan for their beautiful music, to the beadle, Ann Campbell and the undertakers Craig & Beverly (Sean and Wendy) for their caring, friendly and professional services, to Fiona Menzies for the lovely tea, and to Dr. Teal of Insch Medical Practice for his attentive care. Sincere thanks to all who gave generously to the church spire fund, including the thoughtful club donations from the Strathbogie Fiddlers and the Fergie Club, which amounted to £1,550. A big thank you also for the friendship Allan enjoyed with the I. A. M., Garioch Fiddlers, Strathbogie Fiddlers, Fergie Club, Wartle C. A., the minister and Kirk Session of Insch Church, and especially that of the Caravan Club, which, along with his music, Allan appreciated throughout his life and in retirement. Finally, thank you to all who paid their last respects at the church and the graveside.
