Please accept me deepest condolences. I first met Hector when I came to work in Aberdeen in 1979 and over the years until he retired got to know him well as he was part of the team I managed. He would also pop into the office regularly after he retired and kept us up to date with the battles with motorists when he was a Lollypop Man looking after the safety of 'his' kids. Hector was a super bloke to work with, always helpful and willing to go out of his way to be of assistance. He made frequent visits to Scandinavia and was very proud of his family there. 'Big Hec' will always be fondly remembered by me and, I imagine, by all those who worked with him and I hope this helps at this sad time. Mike Crowe.
