COWIE (Huntly) Suddenly but peacefully, on Tuesday, February 28, 2012, in the tender loving care of the staff at Alexander Scott's Eventide Home, Elizabeth Shivas, aged 97 years, (late of Callum Court and Church Street). Beloved wife of the late John Cowie, dear mother of Billy and Kenny, loved mother-in-law of Margaret and June, a treasured nunnie to David, Alan, Ronald, Diane and Shona and to her eight special great-grandchildren. A Thanksgiving service will be held in Huntly Cairnie Glass Church, on Monday, March 5, at 1.00 p.m., thereafter to Huntly Cemetery. All friends respectfully invited. Family flowers only, but donations would be gratefully accepted for Alexander Scott's Eventide Home.
