PIRIE (Aberdeen) Suddenly at home on Sunday, May 10, 2015, aged 68, George Alastair, loving father to Malcolm & Matthew, grandad to Lauren & Angus, former husband to Thelma Mary Forbes and devoted son to Peggy and George. Much travelled, his work took him from Torry to Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Durban, before returning home. Ex-Highland League footballer with Deveronvale and Peterhead, George will be sadly missed and fondly remembered as a hardworking, kind and decent family man. Service at Aberdeen Crematorium (East Chapel), on Thursday, May 28, at 1.20 pm. All are welcome to pay their respects. Flowers welcome, or donations if preferred, to British Heart Foundation.
