CRAIG (Glenbuchat)Marjorie Simmonds (nee Bain) aged 98, formerly of Aberdeen but who has lived in Glenbuchat for the last 40 years passed away in the early hours on Tuesday, May 12. She has fought the deterioration caused by old age, illness and blindness over the last 7 years with spirit and with the care of her children but her last hours were thankfully quick. She leaves us, her 5 children, 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and numerous friends with many memories. Funeral service on Monday, May 18, at 11.00 am in Tullynessle Kirk followed by a snack lunch in Tullynessle Hall. All family and friends still alive are welcome but please only family flowers. If you desire, donations for the upkeep of the Old Kirk at Glenbuchat, where she will be finally laid to rest, can be made at the church door.
