BUCHAN (Danestone)
Shelagh Melvin and Lindsay Buchan and the immediate family, would like to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for the many kind expressions of sympathy extended to them personally and by cards, letters and by telephone calls in the recent sad loss of our dear dad, Robert (Bob). Special thanks to Scott Melvin for his moving tribute, and to Meg Taylor for her compassion and comforting celebration of dad's life. Grateful thanks also to the staff in the CCU at ARI Ward 106 & 109, for their excellent care and attention, and to the ambulance crew who worked so hard on dad - the extra 2 weeks you enabled us to have with dad were very special and gave the family precious time together. Thank you also Claire and the staff at Aberdeen Funeral Directors for their sympathetic and efficient handling of all the arrangements. Finally grateful thanks to all who paid their respects at the crematorium. Donations in lieu of flowers raised £600.00 for the British Heart Foundation.
