FRASER Suddenly at home, on Saturday, May 31, 2014, Alan, aged 58 years, beloved husband and best friend of Kathleen, devoted dad of Nicky and his partner Louise, much adored granda of Leah and Aimee-Lee, loved brother of Judith and her partner Chris, a dear nephew, cousin, brother-in-law, uncle and a good friend to all who knew him. Alan will be very sadly missed. Funeral service at Aberdeen Crematorium, Hazlehead (West Chapel), on Thursday, June 12, at 11.45 a.m. All friends respectfully invited.

My Mum and I used to go to Milnes regularly for years and Alan always added a touch of sunshine to our day. His humour and dry wit was a perfect match with ours and we enjoyed great bantering. I only learned yesterday of Alans passing when I visited the Auction after some years absence. It saddened me deeply that I hadn't seen him recently and we will both miss him. I will miss our absurd chats and daft observations Alan. God Bless old friend.

Alan was the gold of north Silver Street . Knowledgeable and helpful and always prepared to offer assistance . In recent years he became a very accomplished auctioneer and to many regular sale goers he was the top man at "millies " Saddly missed by all regulars and Tuesdays and Wednesdays will will never be the same without our Alan All the best big man ! SandyG
