GILLIES Suddenly at home, in Ullapool, on August 27, 2011, Pipe Major Alasdair, aged 47 years. Beloved son of Kathleen and the late Pipe Major Norman and loving dad to Norrie. Will be sorely missed by all who loved him. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, September 3, 2011, at 11 a.m., in the Church of Scotland, Ullapool, interment thereafter in Morefield Cemetery. All friends respectfully invited. No flowers please. Donations if so desired, may be made at the church, in aid of Help our Heroes.
