SMITH (Cruden Bay) Linda, Nicola, Russell, James, Bob, Darren and Chevonne would like to thank all the many friends for all their thoughtful expressions of sympathy extended to them during this very difficult and sad time, also for the many cards, telephone calls, heartfelt letters and personal callers following the very sudden and shocking loss of a very, very special dad and granda, Russell. A heartfelt, sincere thank you to Steve and Cynthia for all their help they gave trying so hard to save our dad at the scene of the accident. Grateful thanks to all the Police, ambulance and fire crew and Doctor Patel who helped at the scene. Thanking the Rev. Roger Neilson for his comforting service and home visits. Special thanks to the many Coastguards for their extra special send off they gave to our dad. A special thank you to Joseph Yule for his personal tribute he made to our dad and granda Tractor. Thanking Buchan Funeral Directors, also the Red House Hotel for the funeral teas. Finally, thanking all those who paid their last respects at the service and graveside and for the overwhelming donations of £1, 069.40 that was so kindly raised for Cruden Bay Coastguards.
