MCKENZIE Peacefully, surrounded by his family, at the Links Unit, City Hospital, on Sunday, June 19, 2011, Fred (late of RTH and Pentagon Freight), aged 75 years. Much loved husband to Sheila, loving dad to Fiona, Jacqueline, Catriona and Natalie, a dear grandad to Lee, Leanne, Matthew and Kenny and father-in-law to Davie. Funeral service at Aberdeen Crematorium (East Chapel), on Friday, June 24, at 9.30 a.m., to which all friends are respectfully invited. Bright colours to be worn, family flowers only please. Resting at Wm Gilchrist Funeral Directors, 46 Rose Street, Aberdeen.

Hi u 2 hope you are both enjoying yourselves up there missing u both, just to let you know Kenny and Becca have got their own house now and Kenny has a new job in recruitment and doing well for his self, he is doing a little bit of buying and selling on the side, davie is no longer a bus driver he is now a coach driver and goes all over now, hope sooty is being good for u mum and getting on with rebel.. miss you heaps speak soon xx have a great Christmas xxxxxx

Just a little note to say that I am now waiting for my house 🏠 up in aviemore like I said I would when u left me mum and I will be able to put a flower 🌼 on your resting place every month until we are back together ❤ hope you are taking care of my angel 😇 dad as I am really missing her ❤ and can't believe she is now with you ❤ instead of by my side ❤ love you both ❤ 😘 💖 rip ❤ ♥ 💖

Well that's another year over and ur grandson moved on down to Glasgow to start a new life with his girlfriend, I have not been great of health myself lately but u probably know this as I can feel u beside me a lot lately have been struggling to get breath the last week or so hospital trying to say could be copd he hoping it's not and just a bad chest infection as im not ready to come up and be with u yet have still got a lot to do down here like see Kenny married and make a good life for him self and then hopefully my grandchildren or grandchild, happy new year love and miss you xx

sitting here tonight wishing i could pick up my phone and call you .just want to hear your voice even if u just moaned at me i would be fine as im missing you heaps and just want to be able to cuddle you once more if i could i would never let you go this time. love and miss you loads dad wish you was here.to see how well you grandson is doing i know you can see him and will always walk beside him and the rest of us but thats not the same as us having you by us to hold .
