SIMPSON Suddenly, on June 15, 2011, in the loving care of the staff at Banks o' Dee Nursing Home, Mary (nee Lorimer). Beloved wife of Alan, much loved mother of Margaret and Michael, mother-in-law to Roseanna and Martin and a dear grandmother and great-grandmother. Funeral service to be held at Aberdeen Crematorium, East Chapel, on Friday, June 24, 2011, at 1.20 p.m., to which all family and friends are respectfully invited. Resting at Gordon & Watson's Rest Rooms, Rosebank Place, Aberdeen. Will be sadly missed by all. xx.

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there, I do not sleep
I am a 1,000 winds that blow
I am the diamond glints on snow
I am the sun on ripened grain
I am the gentle autumn rain
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled light
I am the soft star that shines at night
Do not stand at my grave and cry
I am not there; I did not die.
