MACKENZIE (Brora) Very peacefully, after a short illness, with his family at his bedside, at Raigmore Hospital, Inverness, on March 26, 2011, George Mackenzie MSM, Dudgeon Drive, Brora, ex Chindit, Seaforth Highlander and Queen's Own Highlander, beloved husband of Christina Duff Matheson, father of Alexandra, father-in-law of Douglas and proud grandfather of Robert. Funeral service will take place in Clyne Church of Scotland, Brora, on Wednesday, March 30, 2011, at 11.45 a.m. and thereafter to Brora Cemetery. No flowers please, at his own request, but donations, if desired, may be given in lieu, at the church door, for the Veterans Residences, Whitefoord House.
