THORNTON (Inverurie) Doreen would like to thank all family, friends and neighbours for the kind expressions of sympathy extended to her, by cards, telephone calls, visits and floral tributes and for the donations to Guide Dogs for the Blind Association following the sad loss of David (Dave). Many thanks to Dr. Wilkinson, Sister Paterson and all her devoted nurses for their care of David in Ward 39, at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. I would also like to thank Dr. Murison and Dr. Dixon in helping me to cope with Dave's situation and guiding me daily. Grateful thanks to Mr. Buchan's cardiac team last year for giving Dave and I a little more time together following his heart surgery, the 999 Ambulance Service for their quick response each time I needed them and to the Patient Transport Service and Grampian Cardiac Rehabilitation Association. Many thanks to the Rev. T. Graeme Longmuir for his comforting service, his uplifting visits and to St. Andrew's Church for the lovely flowers I have received from them. Finally, I would like to thank David Craig and staff of John R. Craig, Funeral Directors, for the caring and sensitive handling of the funeral arrangements, and to the Strathburn Hotel, Inverurie for their excellent handling of our lunch requirements.
