BRUCE Elsie and family wish to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for their kind expressions of sympathy, in person, cards, flowers and phone calls received in the recent sad bereavement of Arthur. Elsie would like to say a special thanks to Moira, Benny, Carole,John, William, Shan San, David and Lynda. Also Arthur's grandchildren for all the love and support they have shown to her during Arthur's illness and after. Neighbours Jim, Ian and Bill for all the help before and after Arthur's passing. Also friends Lorna, Sarah, Alison, Janice, Margaret C, Helen, Ann music chum for their unfailing support to Arthur and I over the years. Stewart and Fred for their welcome visits to Arthur, Nora and Ian for their trips to Art Centre and Durris Club to hear the accordian music Arthur loved. Special thanks to Dr. Miller, Portlethen Health Centre for his excellent care over the years to Arthur, District Nurses, Liz BHF Nurse, Physiotherapy KCH, OCC Therapist, Vicky Crossroads, Michies Chemist, Portlethen, Aurora Vets at Dyce, all our friends at the Thursday Club, Stonehaven and the A Team. Members and Volunteers at Young at Heart Group, many a happy hour spent. Congregations of Newtonhill and Portlethen Churches for all their support and prayers. All friends who walked Arthur out of the village, ladies at Newtonhill Church for refreshments, Norma for the beautiful flower arrangements at the church and Margaret Watt, Stonehaven, for the beautiful floral tribute, to Jim for the reading in Doric of Arthur's 80th poem, he couldn't have done better himself. To all who attended the service at Newtonhill Church and Interment at Portlethen Cemetery. Thanks to Rev. Hugh Conkey for his visits and very uplifting service.
