STRACHAN Betty and family wish to express their sincere thanks to all relatives, friends and neighbours for the kind expressions of sympathy and support by many cards, texts, emails, flowers and calls following the home call of her beloved husband and their father and grandfather, John Strachan. Special thanks to Dr Kiehlmann and the district nurses from Danestone and Scotstown Medical Practices for their special care and kindness. Grateful thanks to Mark Shaw, funeral directors for their care, concern and professional handling of the services. Many thanks to all who attended and contributed to the very moving thanksgiving and remembrance service at Kings Community Church, Aberdeen and to all who paid their last respects at the graveside in Inverallochy, £4000 was generously donated towards the building of a new Eye Hospital in Kabul, Afghanistan. Our loss, Heaven's gain.
