SMITH (Peterhead) Peacefully (after a long illness courageously endured), at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, on Friday, February 24, 2006, Ian Smith, in his 71st year (retired farm servant and employee, Peterhead Power Station), dearly loved husband of Eleanor Jane Smith (Jean), 29 Rose Avenue, Peterhead, a much loved and loving dad of Alison, Jennifer, Fiona and Sheena, a dear father-in-law and a proud and devoted granda to his 8 grandchildren. Very sadly and sorely missed. Service in Longside Parish Church on Thursday, March 2, at 1.30 p.m. to which all friends are respectfully invited and thereafter to Old Deer Cemetery. No callers and no flowers please, but if so desired, donations in lieu of flowers at the church door for Ward 16, Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, Patients Equipment Fund.
