Peacefully, in Raigmore Hospital, Inverness, on Saturday, December 18, 2004, Arthur Hugh Vanston Smyth, in his 92nd year, 3 Quebec Avenue, Tain (former Rector of Tain Royal Academy), beloved and loving husband of Anne, a much loved father of Alistair, Deborah and Anne, a devoted grandpa to his nine grandchildren and a dearly loved great-grandpa and father-in-la w.
