Peacefully, at Roxburghe House, on Saturday, March 6, 2004, after a long illness, bravely borne, Gladys Laing, aged 46 years, of Grampian Road, Alford, much loved wife of George, loving mother of Lewis and Maxwell, cherished daughter of Sam and Annie, dearly loved sister to Annie and Sammy, a dear sister-in-la w, aunt and friend to many. Sorely missed by all. Funeral service in Tough Parish Church, on Thursday, March 11, at 1.30 p.m., thereafter to Alford Cemetery. All friends respectfully invited. Family flowers only please, but donations in lieu, if desired, can be made at church door for Cancer Research.
