Peacefully, at home, in Chester-Le-S treet, on Sunday, September 5, 2004, after a long illness borne with great dignity, in the loving care of her family, Gertrude Michie (Gertie) nee Black, formerly of Turriff. Dearly beloved wife of William (Willie) and a dear mother of Dorothy, William, Christine and Robbie and a much loved granny and great-granny. Funeral service in St. Ninian's and Forglen Parish Church, Turriff, on Saturday, September 11, at 10.30 a.m., thereafter interment in Turriff Cemetery (West Gate). All friends respectfully invited. Family flowers only, please, but donations in lieu, if desired, to Macmillan Nurses.
