Peacefully, in St. Catherine's Hospice, Godstone, Surrey, on Wednesday, February 25, 2004, aged 69 years, Michael (Cecil), ex Detective Superintendent, Metropolitan Police, formerly of Elgin, son of the late James and Margaret Smith, much loved husband of Jane, father of Tess, Andrew and James, dear brother of Alistair, Muriel, Mary and Wilma and uncle of Alexander and Nicola. Service at Surrey & Sussex Crematorium, on Thursday, March 4, 2004.
