MACKENZIE Mac (Ian), Alison and Amy are sad to announce the death of their beautiful boy. Finlay Daniel Peter MacKenzie was born on October 27, 2007, at Aberdeen Maternity Hospital, weighing 1180g. He lived a short, but mostly happy life in the Neo-Natal Unit and touched the hearts of everyone who knew him. He brought such joy to our lives, but on Tuesday, February 5, 2008 he could fight no longer and died in the loving care of the staff at the unit, aged 101 days old. Words cannot express how we feel at this time. A celebration of Finlay's life will take place on Saturday, February 9, 2008, at 9 a.m., in Gordon & Watson's Chapel, 30 Rosebank Place, then on to Hazlehead Cemetery, at 10 a.m. No formal funeral wear, bright happy colours. Finlay is resting and getting ready for his next adventure, at Gordon & Watson's. No callers please. Family flowers only, but donations if desired, can be given at the chapel door, for `Aberdeen Neo-Natal Unit'. Forever in our hearts.
