MILNE In loving memory of a special mum Helen Brodie (Nellie), who passed away April 25, 2008. They say in time you do forget, To some that may be true, But no morning dawns, no night returns, Without a thought of you. Life goes on without you, But it is not the same, Not only were you my mum, You were my best friend. When I'm sad and lonely, And everything goes wrong, I seem to hear you whisper, "Cheer up and carry on." Each time I see your picture, You seem to smile and say; "Don't cry I'm only sleeping, We'll meet again some day." For those of you who still have your Mum, Treat her with tender loving care, For you will never know the emptiness, Until you turn and she's not there. Love and miss you always.
