WILSON (Kintore) After a short illness, during which he managed to keep his usual good humour and consideration for others, George (Wullie) Wilson, 3 Strachan Cottages, Kintore (and previously 5th Gordons POW for 5 years after St. Valery and ex-Tait's Paper Mill), died on Saturday, March 29, 2008 in the gentle care of the staff at Ward 22, Woodend Hospital, 3 weeks before his 90th birthday. He was a deeply loved and loving husband to Bella Shearer (Betty), a much loved dad of David, Phyllis and Ian, a dear father-in-law of Lilian, Jim and Fiona, a very proud, fun granda of 6, great-granda of 9 and a friend to everyone he met. His funeral service will be held on Friday, April 4, 2008 at 2.00 p.m., in Kintore Parish Church, followed by a Committal Service at 3.20 p.m. at Aberdeen Crematorium, Hazlehead (East Chapel) to which all family and friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only please but, if desired, donations in lieu will be gratefully received at the Church door for Ward 22, Woodend Hospital.
