GRANT (Forres) Lauranne and family would like to thank all relatives and friends for their many expressions of kindness and sympathy since Alastair died, too numerous to thank individually. We are especially comforted by the huge number who paid their last respects at Alastair's funeral. We appreciate the support from Rev. Donald Prentice of St. Leonards Church, and felt uplifted by the positive service he gave and also by the lovely organ music by Angus Hull. Special thanks must go to Dr Owen Dempsey of Chest Unit at ARI, to Dr Williams of Dr Gray's Hospital, and to our local doctors for all their considered advice and help. Sincere thanks to Kelly McKandie and Andrew Smith for their empathy and attention to detail with the funeral arrangements and also to the Ramnee Hotel staff who welcomed the overwhelming numbers with great professionalism, they all made this time very much easier for us.
