SMITH (Dyce/Lerwick) Peacefully, at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, after a long illness, faced with courage and dignity, on Wednesday, January 14, 2009, James Douglas Shand (Douglas), aged 72. Dearly loved husband of Sheila. Memorial service at St. Margaret's Church, Gallowgate, Aberdeen, on Monday, January 19, at 2.30 p.m. Funeral at St. Magnus Church, Lerwick, on Thursday, January 22, at 12 noon, followed by interment at Lerwick New Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to Cancer Research UK.
