LESLIE Fiona, Stuart and family have been completely overwhelmed by the love and support shown to them personally, by card, email, telephone calls and flowers during the last six months and following the sad passing of Kenny. We very much appreciated the support of Rev Sylvia Spencer during this time and for the personal and comforting service which she provided along with Rev Hugh Conkey. Thanks to colleagues at Wiseman Dairies, friends and neighbours for their visits and to staff at Clashfarquhar House whose understanding allowed Fiona to spend as much time as possible with Kenny in the last difficult months. Our grateful thanks to Zoe, Margaret and Phil for reading, to Norma for the beautiful floral arrangement in the church, to Bethany for playing the organ, to Aberdeen Funeral Directors for their help with formal arrangements and Margaret and the staff of Portlethen Golf Club for the lovely soup and sandwich lunch. We are indebted to the staff of Roxburghe House who so lovingly cared for Kenny in his last few weeks and to the medical and nursing staff at Portlethen Medical Centre who all went above and beyond to try and give Kenny more time at home. We were happy to be able to celebrate Kenny's life in the way that he chose and our heartfelt thanks to all those who attended the service of thanksgiving and to those who then, and since, have kindly donated monies meaning that we are now able to give the sum of £1,000 to both Portlethen Medical Centre and Gastrocan, to help in their ongoing work, and, to Roxburghe House, as per Kenny's final wishes, a working television is now in place. Sadly missed.
