EAGLESHAM (Glasgow/Clydebank/Alness/Evanton) Peter Walker Watt Eaglesham, aged 91 years, after a short illness, peacefully at home, with family by his side, on September 19, 2024, two years to the day after the passing of his beloved wife, Rena. Dad to Steven, Scott, Stuart, Struan and Sandor, father-in-law, grandad to 13, great-grandad to 5. One-time: Mosquito aircraft reconnaissance photographer; artist; accountant; draughtsman; Vespa scooter rider; driving instructor; ice cream van vendor; public relations manager to Singer company, in Clydebank; manager of Averon Centre in Alness; malt whisky enthusiast; world-class pipe-smoker. Always a gentleman. A celebration of Peter's life will be held at Inverness Crematorium, on Friday, October 4, at 11am. He was not a man for formal dress, we would welcome hints of tartan, hints of heather, kilts and hiking boots. All family and friends respectfully invited. Donations, if so desired, will be gratefully received for Diabetes Scotland. "She first deceased, he for a little tried, to live without her, liked it not and died." All enquiries to Mairi Urquhart & Son, tel: 01349 880901.
