HARROP 1951-2024 Kate Harper, Lewis and Aileen Harrop and family would like to express their gratitude to all those who sent cards, letters, flowers and wishes of condolence following Pete's sudden and unexpected death at home on April 21, 2024. We would also like to thank Manson and MacBeath for arranging the cremation and memorial service and, of course, Lesley Simpson, the humanist celebrant, who officiated. A heartfelt thank you to all those who came from far and wide to the service and gave Pete such a great 'send off'. Thanks, too, to all those who gave tributes - Pete's sister, Sarah, Andy Nelson from Glencoe Mountain Rescue team and Nick Kempe, an old friend and to the musicians, Eilidh Shaw and Ross Martin and Ken McDonald and Ian Barton. In addition, we would like to thank Glenuig Community Hall for providing the fitting venue and to Rona at Glenuig Inn for the wonderful 'afternoon tea'. Donations were collected for Glencoe Mountain Rescue team and for Change in Mental Health, Fort William, amounting to £820.
