SIMPSON (Ballater) At ARI, on Thursday, June 15, 2023, surrounded by his girls, Ian Douglas Simpson, peacefully passed away, aged 80 years. Darling husband and best friend of Betty, dearest dad to Heather and Christine, loving granda Jock to Eirin and Darroch, proud father-in-law of Rob, dear brother of Michael and the late Allan, a dear brother-in-law, uncle and friend to many, both at home and in Australia. Funeral service at Glenmuick Parish Church, Ballater, on Tuesday, June 27, at 2 pm, thereafter to Tullich Kirkyard. All friends respectfully invited. Family flowers only, but donations in lieu, if so desired, may be given at the door for Church Fabric Funds.
