BIRNIE Denise, Philip and Michael would like to thank all family and friends for their kind expressions of sympathy and support following the sad loss of their father Dennis. The family would also like to thank the Rev. Duncan Eddie for his spiritual care and comforting service, Mike Plowman for his kind words and light hearted insight into Dennis's life and military history, the staff at Holborn Practice, Paramount Care, Rosehill House, ARI and Woodend Hospitals for the care and warmth they provided to Dennis during the last two years of his life, the Atholl Hotel for providing a lovely funeral tea and finally Wm. Gilchrist Funeralcare, for the way in which they assisted the family in making the funeral arrangements during this sad time. A collection box in memory of Dennis for his nominated charity RNLI, raised the sum of £200.00 and was gratefully received.
