MIDDLETON (Edzell) Very peacefully, on Sunday, September 13, 2020, Phyllis (nee Caithness) aged 85 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Sandy, adored mum of Jane, Anne and John. Much loved gran of Laura, Innes, Andrew, Calum and Samantha. Dear sister of George. Phyllis spent a large part of her life at Balnakettle, Fettercairn with Sandy, farming and bringing up their family. Phyllis co-owned the Coffee House, Montrose, and latterly was a tour guide at Fettercairn Distillery. Due to current regulations a private service will be held at Fettercairn Parish Church on Tuesday, September 22. En route to her final resting place at Stracathro Churchyard, Phyllis will pass by Fettercairn Distillery, Balnakettle and through Edzell, leaving Fettercairn at approximately 1.30pm.
