MITCHELL It is with the greatest sincerity that David, Gary and family would like to thank all relatives, friends, neighbours and colleagues for the numerous cards, letters and phone calls received following the sad loss of their dad, John. A special thanks to the wonderful neighbours at Hilton and John's close buddies for their selfless support to him over many years, and for their friendship, which he held dear, and their continuing support to his loved ones. Betty, John's older sister, was devoted to her brother and it was essentially due to her significant loving care and attention, that his latter difficult years were enhanced. David and Gary cannot thank her enough for all that she has done for their dad, and the family as a whole. The attention provided to John by the Inverurie Medical Practice in the last few months of his life was excellent, and we know he would have liked to thank the entire team for the kind, friendly and professional approach to his care. The current virus crisis prevented us from inviting all who knew John to his celebration of life service, but many thanks to those who were able to attend, in what was somewhat unusual circumstances. Special thanks to Kathleen and James at Berriedale Funeral Home for conducting a truly professional service that removed much of the potential stress and allowed us all to focus on John (dad). John would have been delighted with the warmth of the words Kathleen spoke of him at Baldarroch, and we thank her so much on his behalf. We'll all miss you John - keep fixing things. Love you.
