SMITH (Elgin) Jane, Richard, Julie, Louise and their families would like to thank our friends, neighbours and relatives for their heartfelt support and many thoughtful cards, letters and telephone calls following the recent sad loss of our dearly loved husband and dad, Bill. Thank you to Bill's former colleagues at Grampian Police for your many tributes and wonderful stories; they have brought us great comfort. We are grateful to Drs Little and Munro of Linkwood Medical and to Nurses Rachel Thomson and Tanya Shaw for the support they gave Bill during his short illness. Thank to William Watson, Funeral Directors, for assisting us with arrangements in these challenging times. Bill was laid to rest in his home town of Alford on May 14. When restrictions allow, we will have a celebration of Bill's life, to which all friends and family will be most welcome.
