REID (Inverurie) Susan and family would like to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for their thoughtful expressions of sympathy shown to them by way of visits, messages, flowers and overwhelming number of cards received after the sad loss of Sandy. We are grateful to those who showed us sincere kindness and support throughout Sandy's illness with special thanks to colleagues at Balfour Beatty and Les Enfants. To all at Donbank, Inverurie Hospital for giving us the support and space to look after Sandy in his few days there. To Dr Nicolson and team at Clinic D, Wards 310 and 114 at ARI and all staff at Inverurie Health Centre with a special thank you to Dr Finlayson who kept Sandy's spirits up and encouraged him to "go for it". Sincere thanks to Martyn Main Sandy's "Macmillan Mannie" for his visits and support, never dampening Sandy's determination to pack in as much as he could. To the staff of Eric P Massie Funeral Directors, for their guidance with the funeral arrangements, to Celebrant, Jan Hughes for such a personal and fitting eulogy for Sandy, just the way he wanted. Also to Brain at Baldarroch Crematorium for his part in Sandy's final journey and to Inverurie Golf Club for the lovely teas. Finally thank you to all those who came to share Sandy's Celebration of Life and those who generously donated the sum of £1218.48 in aid of Macmillan Nurses. We are beyond words as to how truly we miss Sandy.
