Peacefully at Ruthrieston House, Aberdeen, on Saturday, April 2, 2016, George Birnie, aged 84 years, beloved husband of the late Lily, much loved dad to Maureen and Morag, grandad to Daniel, Adam and Jodie and friend to many. Funeral service at Dyce Parish Church, on Thursday, 14 April, at 11am, thereafter interment at Dyce Cemetery, to which all friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only please, but donations, in lieu, may be made at the church door for Voluntary Services Aberdeen (VSA).
