MACKAY Mhairi and family of the late Donnie Mackay (The Highlander) would like to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for the many kind expressions shown to them on their sudden loss of Donnie. Thanks for all the cards, letters, telephone calls too many to reply to. Thanks to the Rev. John Murdo MacDonald for his most comforting and uplifting service. To the Jacobite, Alastair Currie, D&H Taxis, Alastair Mackay for all that they provided. To Rossy Mackerlich for his efficient arrangements and to the many, many people from near and far who joined us to pay their last respects. It showed us what a popular true highland gentleman he was and also for the generous collection of £700 for the crossroads care (Skye + Lochalsh).
