HENDERSON Douglas, SNP MP for East Aberdeenshire, 1947-79 - former Chief Whip of the Parliamentary Group and former Deputy Leader, died in Edinburgh, on September 15, 2006, following a short illness. His indomitable spirit, courage and kindliness remain in the hearts of all who loved and respected him, he will be greatly missed. The funeral service will be held in St. Giles Cathedral, Edinburgh, on Saturday, October 7, at 1 p.m. There will be a private interment.
