SIMMERS (Peterhead) Peacefully, at Peterhead Community Hospital, after a long illness, courageously endured, on Wednesday, September 20, 2006, Robert Gordon Simmers (Bob), aged 68 years (retired Watchmaker/Jeweller and Engraver, also Group Scout Leader, Middleton Scouts, Peterhead), of 53 St. Mary Street, Peterhead, beloved son of the late Gordon and Agnes Simmers and a dear friend of many. Very sadly and sorely missed. Service of Thanksgiving for his life to be held in The Old Parish Church, Peterhead, on Saturday, September 23, at 10.15 a.m., to which all friends are respectfully invited and thereafter to Balmoor Cemetery. No callers and no flowers please, but if so desired, donations in lieu of flowers, at the church door, for Middleton Scout Group Fund, Peterhead.
