KENNEDY The family of the late Kate Kennedy would like to thank neighbours, friends and family who attended the funeral and those who could not but surrounded us with love and prayers from all over the world. Thanks to the Reverend Ronald MacKay for the service and for his and Mrs MacKay`s love and support over the years, the Reverend Hugh Ferrier, Mr Henry McEwan and Mr Norman Campbell for their parts in the service, Dr. Malcolm MacRae for his years of medical care, Wilma her carer and Vicki Fraser of John Fraser & Son, Chapel Street, Inverness for her efficient and sincere attention to the funeral arrangements. We are deeply indebted to the staff of Ward 2, at the R.N.I. for their professional, dedicated and compassionate care shown to Kate and visiting friends and family, to Kate`s devoted nieces Betsy, Marie, Catriona, Laura and Flora who sat for many hours with daughter Mairi towards the end and to those others who were more than willing to do so if required. Special thanks are due to our dear friend and relative Ann Michie for her unassuming but ever present love and support for Kate and us, both in recent difficult times and over many years. Thanks to all for their generous donations to Ward 2, of the R.N.I. Mairi, Chas, Catriona, John and Katie.
